Ballet and a Drama!

So my first ballet class was great! It felt like I was returning home after a long time of being away, I missed it so much! And my hip didn’t bother me much, which was a great blessing.
Yesterday I had my first class with my new teacher. She is from North Carolina so she had quite the accent! I will have to take a few more classes before I make a judgment about her teaching though.

I’m also excited to tell you that I’m going to be in my first ever drama! Its called “Spiritual Starbucks” and I’m doing it for our youth group! I’m so excited (and slightly nervous) to see how it turns out.
The basic plot is that people come to the Spiritual Starbucks to order the type of religion they want. A lot of people order things like a “Triple Buddha Mocha Mohammed Latte” or “Wildberry Wiccan with a shot of Caramel Cult”, but no one wants to order a “Venti Full Strength Jesus”. I love the idea, and I’m a coffee addict so this is right up my alley. I’ll keep you posted!

The drama sounds like such a cute idea! :) Actually, I've never had glasses before so it's quite the experience being able to "see" the details in things. I'm beginning to understand why the evil dmv troll didn't want to let me through without me getting a check with the eye doctor. ;)

I'm glad your hip is doing better. The drama sounds like a lot of fun. :D

*coffee-lover salute* (Yeah, I'm in denial...don't feel like saying "addict" just now as I'm sipping my vanilla latte. ;)

That's great that you had such a good first class back, with no nonsense from your hip. Are you feeling sore/out of shape much?

I was feeling WAY out of shape, flexibility wise. I just need to start stretching again everyday for a few hours. lol

Some people believe in life on other planets. Some believe in heaven; some believe in magic.

I believe that the DMV people are evil. All of them.

I also believe that they ask me questions just to watch me sweat.

PS: That last comment was *after* I'd had that morning cup. ;)
